Not long ago, my company decided to change all the Acer Veriton 7600 to HP Compaq dc 7800 desktop. At first, I was reluctant to change the Acer desktop as I have lots of important data and softwares inside the hardisk and I have no big problem with Acer Veriton 7600((Pentium 4 3.06 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 80 GB HDD) and I have used it for more than 3 years. In addition, I only formatted the hardisk 2 times within 3 years due to virus attack.

Well, the size of new HP desktop is more attractive than Acer Veriton 7600 as it’s more slim and small. Day after day till my manager asked me to change my old desktop, I was quite unhappy to replace my desktop but what can I do? So, I replaced the whole desktop plus monitor and amazingly it’s quite saving space and I put the monitor on the CPU. And I think it’s a great design and fit very well with my office table.

Besides that, the CPU speed and other upgraded element are value added to HP Compaq dc 7800. It comes with DVD-Combo writer which makes my life easier. However, the hardisk size and RAM are still the same with my old Acer hardisk which is 80GB and 1GB RAM. But, that’s not a big deal to me as our company still using Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 as operating system.

Here’s the screenshot of my previous Acer Veriton 7600 System Properties.

So, what’s your office desktop or laptop brand? Do you like it’s performance or design? Please share with me.
