At the same time, Maxis Malaysia announced that it will offer Maxis Data Plan for iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G in Malaysia. All Maxis iPad Data Plans come with micro SIM cards and available in Postpaid plans and Prepaid plans.
There will be no activation fee and no contract period when you subscribe Maxis Data Plans. Currently, Maxis does not sell iPad devices and only selling data plans only.
Maxis iPad Data Plans are divided into 3 categories, for the novice users; you can signup the cheapest Entry iPad Data plan which gives you 3.5GB quota usage. For intermediate and heavy users, you can opt to Super or Premium iPad data plans which allow you to surf till 6GB and 15GB quota usage every month.
For existing and new iData and / or iValue Users, you will enjoy a RM 10 rebate by subscribing to the postpaid iPad Plan. Kindly refer to the below Maxis Postpaid and Prepaid data plans for iPad.

Extra information about Maxis iPad Data Plans
1) Before signing up Maxis iPad Data Plans, make sure you check your coverage area by calling 1800-82-2000 or visiting Maxis Broadband coverage page.
2) You will not be terminated to use internet after exceeding monthly quota limit. However, the speed will be throttled down.
3) The download speeds are up to 7.2 Mbps and 1.4Mbps upload speeds.
4) There is no penalty fee for terminating the Maxis iPad Plan.
5) You cannot transfer quota balance to other party and unused quota balance is not exchangeable for cash or refunds.
