Last Thursday was an unfortunate day for Michael Jackson’s fans because their iconic superstar suddenly passed away. His passing has left all his fans heartbroken and unable to believe his death. In the beginning, Google thought that the huge spike in searches for Michael Jackson after his death as an automated attack. Therefore, Google News asked users to verify their status before allowing them to continue searching for Michael Jackson. Not only Google was congested by huge traffic, famous micro blogging site such as Twitter also suffered a slowdown in performance.

Like many others people across the world, I was shocked by Michael Jackson’s death. I’ve got to be honest with you that I’m not a big fan on Michael Jackson but I truly love his music. Today, I’m not going to judge Michael Jackson’s behavior whether he’s guilty or not, but I would like to focus in the contributions he made to the music industry and humanitarian. I had learnt something invaluable lessons from Michael Jackson’s death and would like to share with all of you.

Great Musician of all time
Michael Jackson’s music was unique and different. MJ was an iconic representation of pop music, that’s why people called him The King Of Pop. He’s possibly the greatest entertainer of all time. MJ received numerous honors and awards throughout his career including Guinness World Records for 13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in solo career. His songs was sold over 800 million records worldwide and influenced all sorts of generation. His unique vocal style and complicated dancing techniques still catching everyone’s attention. Looking at his prominent records and achievement, I dare say no one would say that he got it all by luck. He had been working for so hard and began to perform on the stage in the group called “The Jackson 5″ at the age of eight. I believe that his commitment and dedication in music finally led him to become one of the most successful performer in the world.

Lack of Family Love
Looking back at Michael Jackson’s childhood, this poor superstar basically had none. He first spoke about his childhood abuse in a interview with Oprah Winfrey in 1993. He stated that he often cried from loneliness and was physically and emotionally abused by his father from a young age. When other kids were doing what they should be doing, he was struggling hard to become a star at such young age. Therefore, when I saw MJ’s Neverland Ranch, my instinct told me he was trying very hard to relieve what he missed during his childhood.

Think Again, Everyone
Please ask yourself especially the parent. Do you allow your kids to be children? Are you helping inculcate him/her with Godliness, self-confidence, helping the needy and etc… Since you had brought him/her into this world, you should give them the best you could and set a good example to them. Let’s learn from others mistakes and create a better world for our children.
