Last year, Apple iTunes had launched the Christmas Giveaway 2009 to giveaway 12 free Apple apps to Apple’s customers and the Giveaway was a successful one because lots of customers left positive comments and waiting for the same giveaway for year 2010.

This year, Apple in UK has launched the same Christmas Giveaway for iTunes’ European customers which will start on December 26th 2010 till 6th January 2011. The Giveaway promotion is called “12 Days, 12 Free Downloads” which means that you will be able to download 12 free Apple apps every day from 26 December – 6 January direct from your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. Each free download will only be available for 24 hours and the free gifts might be a fantastic selection of songs, music videos, apps, ebooks, or a film.

How to join Apple Christmas Giveaway in 12 Days of Christmas

1)      You need to install iTunes for Mac or Windows which is free of charge at iTunes UK.

2)      Open iTunes and select “iTunes Store” from the menu on the left

3)      Create an iTunes store account by first selecting “Store” from the top menu and then selecting “Create Account” from the drop-down list

4)      Follow the instructions to set up your account.

5)      Once done set up the account and install iTunes, return to the 12 Days of Christmas website from 26 December to 6 January to access free downloads. You can also sign up for email alerts to get more details of each free offer delivered to your inbox.
