There’s nothing more satisfying than learning new easy tricks that will lessen your daily struggles. Check out the hacks we got for you below. These DIY projects won’t even require that much effort and time to finish. So what are we waiting for? Let’s get this started.

Mobile stand

‘Cos  we all need this. Who never gets tired of holding their phones? So just go grab a bottle cap and a cutter. Cut the sides of the cap, just make sure the cuts fit the width of your phone.

Phone charger holder

So your phones don’t end up getting stepped on on the floor. Also, you wouldn’t want anybody tripping on the cable. Yikes.

Desk cords be gone

No one wants to see those irritating black lines under the table. And we’re sure you wouldn’t wanna feel these cords under your feet.

Cable holders

If you’re like us who almost always spend a lot of time finding cables and then being frustrated for always losing them in the chaotic bundle of cords, then may we please suggest you use binder clips to keep your cables organized and easy to find.

Weak Apple cables

To prevent your cables from fraying, you can either use springs from an old pen or simply cover the ends of the cable with an electrical tape.

That’s all for now guys, let us know you tried from these. Have fun crafting!

Those little white bags that often come when you buy a new shoe, camera, or bag has lots of uses. We know it says you should throw it away but keeping some in a safe place won’t do you harm. In fact, we’ve actually found some pretty genius ways to use them.

1. Put some in your gym bag

By doing so, you can get rid of the nasty stink and prevent bacteria from growing in your bag. Sounds like a really good solution huh?

2. Save your wet gadget

Instead of burying your wet phone or any other gadget in a sack of rice when you accidentally dropped it in water, it was found that it’s better to put it in a Ziploc bag full of silica bags or any container that you can seal.

3. No more windshield fog

Having foggy windows when it’s raining can be a really challenging thing. You can’t afford to just let the fog on the window, but wiping it again and again can be bothersome and tricky. Good thing there’s silica gels. Just put some bags in your windshield and your problem is solved.

4. Extend your razor’s life

After using your razor, put it back in the container but make sure to stash some silica bags there to help your razor dry quickly. This will also help keep those rusts away, and save you some bucks for not having to replace it for a new one.

5. Bye smelly feet

Wearing shoes all day makes our feet perspire, and this sweat can lead to that nasty odor! To solve this, simply insert silica bags in your shoes after taking them off. The sweat will dry quicker and the odor will be gone. The silica gels gets rid of moisture therefore prohibiting bacterial growth.

These are just some of the very brilliant ways to use silica gels. These little crystals do not pose any serious health dangers, contrary to popular belief. So feel free to stock up on them. Just make sure they’re out of reach of children, we wouldn’t want them playing with it or worse putting it in their mouths.

Have fun solving everyday common problems with silica gels. Let us know in the comments below if you have more ways to use it. :-D

We all know this ointment in a blue little container. We’ve been using this for ages to help us breathe when colds and cough bother us. But what we don’t know is that there are other ingenious ways we can use this menthol scented ointment.

1. Get rid of nasty nail fungus

If your nails start looking like that, apply some Vicks on  it and you’ll notice that it will get dark within days. This means that the Vicks is killing the fungus and the  dark part of your nail will soon grow off and the new growth will be back to normal – fungus-free!

2. Ticks and bugs

If a tick bit you, apply Vicks immediately. The strong scent might help get the critter to release itself and stop bugging you.

3. Bye bye mosquitoes

Applying small dabs of Vicks to your skin and clothes can help ward of mosquitoes. If you get bitten, apply Vicks on the area to help relieve itching.

4. Heal cracked heels

Before you go to bed, apply a thick layer of Vicks VapoRub on your heels and feet. Massage for five minutes and then cover your feet with socks to lock in the moisture. Wash your feet in the morning, with warm water. Do this every night and you’ll have smooth heels without any trace of crack.

5. Reduce acne and pimples

Vicks is an effective ointment that will rid you of your acne and pimples problem. It has several acne fighting ingredients such as camphor and eucalyptus oil that will dry out the acne overnight. Just put a little dab of vicks vaporub directly on acne and pimple before you go to bed and it’ll shrink significantly the next morning.

6. Aching muscles

A hard day from work can leave you with sore muscles. Good thing Vicks can help you with that. Just spread a generous portion and gently rub on aching area. Then, cover the area with a warm and dry towel. It increases circulation and provides almost instant relief.

7. Headache no more

Aside from aching muscles, a loooong day can give you a terrible headache. Don’t panic, Vicks to the rescue. Just rub a small amount of Vicks VapoRub on your temples and forehead and the mentholated scent will release pressure in your head and give you instant relief.

8. Heal paper cuts and splinters

Dabbing a small amount of Vicks on any small cut or splinter can help prevent infection and speed up healing time.

That’s some of the many other clever ways to use Vicks Vaporub. We hope you found an answer to one of your problems. Let us know if you have more Vicks tips in the comment section below.
